For the first time, an instant camera has an integrated microphone. This means that it is now possible to add voice messages and sounds of up to ten seconds to instax instant pictures: the audio sequence created during or after the picture is taken is stored in a cloud, a QR code is generated and printed discreetly on the instax instant picture. Via QR code scan with a smartphone, the recorded sound can then be listened to for a year from the upload of the shot. This opens up completely new creative possibilities in instant photography, such as audiovisual messages.

Thanks to the integrated memory, a wide range of image editing options are available: six classic filters, such as sepia or black and white, as well as a variety of graphic design frames that can be integrated into your shot and creatively enhanced in this way. The smartphone can be connected to the hybrid instant camera via Bluetooth using the free smartphone app "instax mini LiPlay" and used as a remote control.
