Extremely fast wide-angle lens for MFT
The LAOWA Argus 18mm f/0.95 MFT APO is an extremely fast fixed focal length for MFT cameras and thus corresponds to a focal length of around 35mm for 35mm lenses. This (equivalent) focal length is one of the most popular among photographers and filmmakers. With a speed of f/0.95 and an ultra-fast aperture, this lens is suitable for portraits as well as landscape, street or astrophotography and as an everyday lens. It impresses with its outstanding sharpness and results that are characterized by an extremely soft bokeh. The main subject can be extraordinarily separated from the background. The bokeh at open aperture is an absolute dream for every portrait photographer. However, the internally focusing Lens can also be used universally in other areas of photography.

A completely newly designed lens structure (APO) in the Argus series also ensures effective minimization of chromatic aberration and optimum contrast. Color fringing and ghost images are reduced to a minimum across the entire aperture range. The APO design thus considerably reduces post-processing time.

This LAOWA Lens also features an aperture ring with click switch mechanism, which can be switched from click-stop to stepless. This makes the LAOWA Argus 18mm f/0.95 MFT APO perfect for photographers and filmmakers alike. Thanks to low focus breathing, there is no change in the image section when turning the focus ring and shifting the focus within the image - for example from an object close to the front lens to an object further away. The close focusing distance is 20 cm.

The robust metal housing of the lens is very compact despite its enormous speed. Filters or an adapter ring with a diameter of 62mm can be screwed directly onto the front thread. This also makes it possible to work with plug-in filter systems. Focusing and aperture adjustment are manual.
