The M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 30 mm 1:3.5 macro is a new addition to the Premium series. With the highest* magnification currently available (2.5x**) and a closest focusing distance of just 9.5 cm, it sets new standards among macro fixed focal lengths for compact system cameras. In addition, the AF speed has been improved by up to 30% compared to conventional macro lenses in this class.

The new M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 30 mm 1:3.5 Macro closes the gap between the fast premium lenses 25 mm 1:1.8 and 45 mm 1:1.8, both designed for portrait photography. It impresses with a harmonious, round bokeh. And the distortion that often occurs with comparable Lens in this class is practically invisible. The imaging performance of this compact macro lens is impressive even at extreme magnifications and fast focusing. Another plus is its compatibility with the focus bracketing function of selected Olympus cameras. It automatically creates multiple macro shots with different focus settings. The new M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 30 mm 1:3.5 Macro is also compatible with various Olympus underwater accessories. In addition to underwater housings for various camera models, an anti-reflection ring and a focus ring for manual focusing under the water surface are also available.
