Modern photography has revived a classic.
There is hardly a lifestyle image that can do without the look and feel of a 35mm focal length.
The Samyang 35mm F 1.4 wide-angle Lens impresses with its light intensity and image quality at a fair price. As usual with Samyang, the focus and aperture are set manually, which makes it possible to set the sweet spot exactly where it should be. The lens speed of 1:1.4 is ideal for photos in low light conditions. Last but not least, the cropping potential is enormous. The cropped object is surrounded by a creamy bokeh at open aperture.
A 35mm fixed focal length is often referred to as a reportage lens because it allows the photographer to immerse themselves more deeply in a scene. This enables the photographer to give the viewer the feeling of being right there on location. The 63° angle of view (40° for APS-C) is also ideal for landscape photography.
The 12 lenses are arranged in 10 groups and have been built into a robust body. The aspherically ground lens and the two high-refractive lenses in the Lens reduce aberrations to a minimum, even at open aperture. The mount is made of metal and rounds off the high-quality impression of this giant of light. Thanks to the internal focusing, the compact dimensions of the Lens remain unchanged and leave no doubt that this is an elaborately produced product that has nothing to hide.
