The traditional company Voigtl?nder was already founded in 1756. The company has been manufacturing lenses since 1839. Voigtl?nder lenses convince by their high optical quality, the very good imaging performance and the excellent workmanship and haptics. All lenses are manufactured with manual focus and fixed focal length and thus have a very special retro charm. By deliberately dispensing with many extras, the manufacturer concentrates on the precision of the optics. The product range extends from extreme wide-angle lenses for landscape and architectural photography to portrait lenses.
The four series, E-mount, VM, SL and MFT, are designed for use with various camera systems. The E mount was specially designed for Sony cameras with the E bayonet. The VM series was developed for use with the classic rangefinder cameras of the Voigtl?nder and Leica brands, but can be connected to modern single-lens reflex cameras without loss of quality by means of adapters. The SL lenses are designed to more than meet the requirements of digital photography. Built-in electronics ensure error-free communication with the camera. The MFT series with the Micro Four Thirds connection was created for use with Panasonic and Olympus cameras. Here, special attention is paid to the astonishing speed of 0.95.
With their classic design, Voigtl?nder lenses inspire both the amateur and the professional.
