The WT-501 Boom Stand is an inexpensive solution for setting highlights or generally illuminating from above. It adds another dimension to the illumination range of your studio flashes. Studio flashes can be extended on the extension arm in two sections up to a length of 210cm and are held in balance by a 4350g counterweight. With the standard spigot connection 5/8 inch, the Studio Tripod is suitable for all common studio flashes.

Stable Boom Stand with convincing price-performance ratio
With this Boom Stand incl. Telescopic Extension Arm from walimex, you will get an extremely practical and stable Boom Stand. It also offers a convincing stability when mounting medium-heavy equipment. The maximum load of 5 to 3 kg (depending on the extension length) is achieved by the sturdy Telescopic Tripod segments with diameters of 30 and 26 mm. The boom element of the walimex WT-501 can be extended in length from 115 to 215 cm due to the 2 built-in segments.

A convenient mounting of your equipment on the telescopic arm is offered by the built-in mounting adapter, because it can be easily removed from the bracket and you can mount your equipment via 5/8 inch spigot (16 mm spigot) as well as via 1/4 thread.

The walimex pro WT-501 Boom Stand is a convenient solution for setting highlights or generally for illumination from above. The illumination range of your studio flashes is extended by another dimension. Your equipment is kept in balance by a 4.4 kg counterweight.

Spring-damped boom tripod with variable angle adjustment and an extension height of 100 to 410 cm
This boom tripod can be adjusted in height from close to the ground to approx. 410 cm. Due to the variable angle adjustment of the telescopic arm, you can move your equipment here in seconds both close to the ground and over the heads of your models. The boom is attached to the supplied lamp tripod with the help of a robust clamp. The boom holder is very solid and has two practical mounting levers. The holder allows the connection of the boom to tripod tubes from 22 to 35 mm diameter. The bracket allows a 360 degree adjustment of the boom and thus offers a simple and at the same time very practical solution for your light placement. The spring damping of the center column elements of the tripod facilitate the work and prevent a too fast, uncontrolled lowering of your installed equipment.

Through this additional feature, your photo and video equipment such as studio flash units, LED lights, reflectors, backgrounds or softboxes are held very securely and the light can be aligned exactly. You can implement desired lighting effects in a flash, no matter if you want to set light from below or realize directional light from above for hair and effect lighting.

Moveable 4.4 kg counterweight
A moveable 4.4 kg metal weight is attached to the telescopic boom, which allows you to always keep your equipment in the right balance and to adjust the counterweight to the set angle and the installed equipment.
